Corporate Christmas Party

I provided concept theme, design and direction for this event.
This whole project, from concept to pack out, was completed in 7 days.

The colour scheme was gold, silver, and white.
Sophisticated Christmas was the desired mood.

Gift boxes supplied and decorated by Centrepiece

Enlarged gift boxes kept the Christmas decor compact yet striking.
They also functioned as bar leaners for guests.

Visitors to Nakaochiai Gallery were invited to stretch a giant rubberband and have their photo taken.
Their portrait was then given to them with their diamond illuminated.

Venetian plaster was applied to the walls and ceilings throughout this Hawaii beach front home. It also included to guest villas as well.

The mirror finish brought light into the home,
and the glassy smoothness enhanced airflow and coolness.

The rich honey coloured finish in the bathroom brought warmth to the narrow enclosed space.

Interior view

Tryptych

This is a hand painted replica of the vintage 60's silkscreen poster shown.
It is a triptych, made on three separate panels, so that it can make it through the door.

Turquoise Plaster

This turquoise tint was handmade to bring some refreshing coolness to a white wall gallery.
The finish is glassy smooth and reflective from side view.

Gold Wash Over Burnished Plaster

Before

This wall had an overhang which did not allow the mirror to be properly installed.
The dining area also shared space with the living room and office needing visual cohesion.

A wall was made for the mirror, and plastered.
A gold powdered wash was created to match the golden frame of the mirror.

The play of light brought out different layers of the wall.
In this view, you can see more of the plaster colour coming through from the golden finish.

Marbling

Columns were painted to match the floor marble.
