Richie McCaw vs. Josh Emett

I was briefed that All Blacks legend Richie McCaw and celebrity Michelin starred chef Josh Emett would be attending an exclusive BBQ event.

I proposed to have the celebrities face off in a Kiwi BBQ Cook-Off.

Each celebrity came up with three dishes they enjoy for a Kiwi BBQ.

Guests were served their signature BBQ dishes.

The main showdown had three randomly selected guests judge their face off cuisine.

Red Collection @ Fashion Week

My concept of a Shanghai Night was given the green light to be the theme of Auckland's premier evening fashion event held at the Viaduct Events Centre.

Guests arrived to the red carpet with this temple nod to the front facade.

The illuminated jade central bar set the tone upon arrival.

The red moon provided an outlook for the white lounge.

The lounge was accentuated by custom made lantern stands and velvet highlights.

The lotus backdrop provided themed elegance for the catwalk.

Thank you to the amazing team for bringing the Shanghai Night to life.
What an epic night!

BMW New Zealand Polo Open

Westpac hosted the fashion portion of the BMW New Zealand Polo Open. They requested a branded catwalk to be created for their runway.

I scaled up the size of the brand to visually relate with the models on the catwalk.

The brand became activated as the models walked through.

The oversized scale brought visual recognition for the brand when the media featured this photo highlight of celebrity Michelin starred chef, Josh Emett looking his best.

Red Collection @ Fashion Week

Ancient Greek was the theme of the Red Collection at Fashion Week held at Auckland's Viaduct Centre. As a concept consultant, visually impactful elements were provided to bring the theme to life.

Red Carpet Entrance

The exterior facade was kept minimal yet mysterious with armed guards dressed the part.

Gigantic flames were essential to bring a primal and red hot presence to the evening.

For the after party, the runway was segmented and transformed to raised lounges.

Guests were properly cooled off ~ feather tickle~ by servants.

National Fieldays, New Zealand

Activities were developed for Westpac's "Family Day" at the National Fieldays.
They desired a "word of mouth" buzz for their marquee.

The brief was to address seeds and its growth within a hothouse.

Visitors were shown how to recycle newspaper by folding it into a seedling pot.
Peas were planted in their pot and made ready to take home along with home care instructions.

Wooden sprouts challenged one's sense of balance.

One of the distinctive varieties that sprouted.

Wooden seed blocks on magnetic boards made the game mobile.

A clue found in the mouth of this capsicum.

RESULT:
Word of mouth buzz was successfully generated.
The brief expected 400-500 visitors on the day.
The final count just exceeded 2400.

"Clint managed our kids station at the Westpac Fieldays stand. Clint created an epic space which was interactive and engaging while teaching kids about sustainability. What was meant to provide entertainment for kids, soon captivated grandparents, parents and children alike!"
Marianne Falconer, Westpac NZ

Corporate Christmas Party

I provided concept theme, design and direction for this event.
This whole project, from concept to pack out, was completed in 7 days.

The colour scheme was gold, silver, and white.
Sophisticated Christmas was the desired mood.

Gift boxes supplied and decorated by Centrepiece

Enlarged gift boxes kept the Christmas decor compact yet striking.
They also functioned as bar leaners for guests.

Diamonds in Tokyo

Visitors to Nakaochiai Gallery were invited to stretch a giant rubberband and have their photo taken.
Their portrait was then given to them with their diamond illuminated.
